“I’m learning interpersonal skills, writing skills and business mindedness – I enjoy exchanging cash for
items like bath bombs, salt scrubs and honey.” (Bee Guardian, 17)
By purchasing our products you are supporting our young workers, from bees to beekeepers, as they build their lives in the local community.
We are working with our Bee Guardians to create a range of quality handmade products that are available at our stalls. These products include honey based natural salt scrubs, lip balms and beehouses for your own back garden. There are more exciting products to come that are currently being developed by our young people, so watch this space!
We sell at Borough Market the last Saturday of the month. Honey
Our bees forage on local trees and flowers and we only use sugar feeding or treat our hives as a last resort. The Golden Company honey is cold pressed, which means it has a high local pollen content. When we crop our honey in late summer we make sure we leave enough for our bees to feed on, enabling them to sustain their hives throughout the winter months. We sell our Golden Company honey as well as honey from other members of the London Beekeepers Association at Borough Market, with prices ranging from £1.50 to £7.00.
